Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
How is that even a response to him politely asking why you're needlessly trolling? Is the Chelsea thread too boring?
It would be one thing if you were in here regularly bantering at us but also providing real thoughts, but to just jump in and let us know we gave up an early goal seems weirdly out of place.
I don't recall dropping by the Chelsea thread last season to consistently remind you of the embarrassing form your team was in for nearly half of the league season. Unless you're going to add something of value occasionally, perhaps you can spare us of your score updates?

As for the match, we're lucky to have a point. We deserved that goal, but we're incredibly lucky we only gave up one. I would've loved to see Xhaka in there hitting long balls from deep in midfield to give us a different dimension going forward.Comment

Kreb, you have to remember Chelsea fans love being hated. They don't show respect because they don't want it.Support Local Sports

Hardly call that trolling. I responded to Suntans comment as I'm allowed to do and as he did to mine. And last I recall I do contribute, check back 3-4 pages Kreb. Also I mentioned one score, I haven't said anything consistently and I wouldn't call that politely asking lol.

Is he though? I honestly think he's just very very stupid. He doesn't ever seem to get bothered by the amount of unwarranted crap he gets all the time. I'd say he's probably one of your stronger players mentally.
He's just dumb as a post.
The rest of your team though...Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
Hey Arsene, how about you start the CM you paid all that money for? Or how about you start an actual striker, as opposed an AM who drops deep, leaving nobody in the box to score goals?
Our best run of play in any game has come with Alexis on the left, but Wenger for some reason seems infatuated with playing The Ox there, despite The Ox's consistently poor performances. It reminds me of Wenger's insistence that Eboue was an AMR, and repeatedly playing him there, despite the fact that Eboue's AMR skillset consisted of turning the ball over and falling down after turning the ball over. At least unlike Eboue The Ox is being played in a natural position.
Given how dangerous we looked once our optimal lineup was in the game (or at least close to optimal, depending on whether you think Perez and Walcott should replace Giroud and Iwobi), I think that had Wenger picked a better starting 11 we would have won the game. Much of PSG's early dominance came from the fact that Alexis was coming deep to get the ball, but there was nobody ahead of him, resulting in zero offensive rhythm and turnovers that lead to dangerous counters. Had Cavani not forgotten how to finish, we would have been down 3 or 4-0.
But once our best lineup was in the game, we looked dangerous in the attack and had a flow about our offense that had been sorely missing. Had this lineup started the game, fewer bad turnovers and more time with the ball would have led to fewer counters. Our back four would have faced less pressure, and Ospina might not have needed to save our asses.
So, Arsene, please do not use the same starting lineup against Hull.Comment

What was up with Mustafi? He looked straight up bad yesterday. Just a matter of needing to settle in?Comment

I think we're seeing the issues relating to thrusting a defender into place when they've had 3-4 days of training with their new teammates. It takes time for a defending pair to mesh, and these guys haven't had much time.Comment
