Ozil has been fantastic for you guys this year thus far. Such a calm and collective finish for the winning goal last night. Most players would have rushed that and fluffed their lines.

It's weird, but as amazing as he is, I truly believe he doesn't get nearly enough credit or recognition. Instead, you'll often see the same **** thrown out about his demeanor and how he doesn't work hard (stats show he does). I guess what I'm saying is the media doesn't show him as much praise as they could, but oh well that's the media.

He's truly one of the best in the world—delighted he plays in an Arsenal shirt.

Seriously, an absolute steal for £42m.

          Rather have Coutinho for £8.5

Just to be clear, I realize the difference in the situations, this is just a commentary on the fact that the two seem to be compared so much. Not so much around here as in general.

Reports are saying that Ozil will be rested by Germany during the interlull.

            That would be amazing.

I see the same. Great news.

Giroud will play for France. Shocker lol

I love seeing Chambers getting games at CB against teams like Man City. I really hope he can still turn out to be a future starting CB for us. That might mean several years on loan, though.

Perhaps sold with a buy-back clause? Top three CBs could be Mustafi, Holding, and Chambers a few years down the road?

This is what happens with Arsenal are not playing. Random thoughts.

I haven't been following him too much BUT I've noticed on Fan Duel that he's been the highest priced defender for like a month now. He must be doing a lot right.

This team is different, and I love it. Years ago when Walcott was face to face with Vertonghen he would've been alone.

This squad? Ozil and Xhaka over immediately with Walcott, with Ozil even pushing Vertonghen away.

A frustrating result in the end. At 1-0 up at home, we have to win that, even if it's 1-0.

Spurs have massive issues scoring, so we were always at an advantage with a lead. Gifted them a goal and a draw, but we also didn't take a few chances late. The win was right there for us to take, as I think we had the better chances to win throughout.

Still hanging around the top positions, and while a draw with Spurs isn't the worst, not grabbing full points against Boro made this one we needed to win.

Should've brought 12 on sooner. Iwobi looks like he has no confidence. Thought he was a weak link today. Also was surprised Ramsey came on for Coq. Did I hear Arlo say he was shaken up?

Alexis is good up top, but so much more dangerous on the left. His skill in all areas is incredible.

I'd like to see Iwobi come off the bench for a few games. He's had chances, and he's not taking them, so we need someone else out there right now.

A draw wasn't a terrible result against Tottenham, but we had chances to win and didn't take them. We are still unbeaten since opening day, but a win would have left us tied on points for first.

Hopefully we get the dumpster fire version of this year's inconsistent Man Utd. team next Saturday.

Alexis has a "low-grade muscle tear" in his calf.

...ugh. I hope for a miraculous and quick recovery.

Edit: Deep breaths. Scans show it's a strain, not a tear.

Tuesday: Not as bad as first feared.

Wednesday: He will miss a month.

Isn't that the usual Arsenal schedule?
