What are you guys thinking of ozil this season? its almost like he isn't even there most of the time. I almost rather see Alexis in his spot for a game or two with Giroud up front, just to see if it can work.

What do you make of the Griezmann rumors?
I think they're ridiculous. No way we sign him unless we swap for Alexis which would be devistating.

Absolutely no way it happens with this club, I feel like it's just rumors to stir the pot. £85m is not coming out of Stan's chequebook. Also there's no way we accept a player swap with Sanchez.
That being said, holy **** if that happens.Support Local Sports

We can't leave out Ozil, though. Bad games aside, he's too creative to just leave on the bench.Comment

You think Ozil can adapt to a role in the central?

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
Not really, which in a way is a "problem" of sorts. We're forced to play a certain formation, such as 4231 due to needing to make proper use of Ozil, or play him at his best.
Who knows, perhaps he leaves this Summer if Arsene doesn't stay and we'll be more free to switch it up.
Hey, Ozil—stay.Comment

Could always try a 442 diamond as well.

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
the thing with 442 is that alexis and walcott are better at slashing inside rather then being forced down the flanks and crossing. IMO Monreal and Bellerin are more suited for that role, but that will make it a bit crowded in the final third and forcing either Alexis or Walcott to play back a little defensively. Current formation allows the space for either of them to move inside when Bellerin is rampaging down the sideline.
im not against any form of the 442, but I think it would work better with a different midfield lineup.Comment

A win today plus Liverpool doing anything against Chelsea would make Saturday's game bigger than it already is.
Whether or not we still stand a chance to win the title will be entirely decided by Saturday afternoon, I'd say.Comment

If we get 6 this week and Chelsea come away with 0 it will make for an incredible chase for the title.
This is my 3rd season of fandom, and both previous two produced a rather boring title chase.
