    Alexis is dead now.

    Good.

Lose everything this year seems fitting.

Arsène Wenger accepts uncertainty over his position hurt Arsenal this year
Arsène Wenger described ‘psychological environment’ in which Arsenal have had to perform since January as ‘horrendous’ and accepted lack of clarity over his personal situation had contributed to it

"Arsène Wenger has described the “psychological environment” in which Arsenal have had to perform since January as “absolutely horrendous” and accepted for the first time that the lack of clarity over his personal situation had contributed to it."

Too ****ing late as usual. What a joke this whole situation is.

I saw Martin Keown was on television saying Sanchez and Ozil let the club down this season. No wonder they probably want to leave. They were the reason this wasn't a completely embarrassing season.

This right here sums it up. Never seen anything like it.

He goes back and forth between fantastic insight and saying what needs to be said to nonsense like that.

Best former player with consistently great thoughts on the current state of the club is Ian Wright. Especially as you can tell everything he says comes from a place of love for the club, and not an attempt to make headlines.

Are you talking about Arsenal specifically? Because I don't think I've ever heard that man offer up anything that could be confused for insight.

The fact that people like Owen, Keown and Shearer get paid actual money to be "pundits" borders on depressing.

My ideal scenario, Wenger announces he's leaving Arsenal at the presser before the FA Cup, we get the chance to give Wenger a proper send off, (no chance we win, but we get to celebrate him at least for a game) We avoid any more lame duck years, we avoid any farewell tour or final season, and we can move on as a club in the summer.

I wouldn't even mind it if he announced he was leaving, then also had a mini farewell tour in the summer with friendlies and whatnot, the man deserves a proper send off.

i would settle for the very minimum of him saying this next season will be his last. It would calm the fans to know that there will be change and we can finally celebrate his career. It would also give wenger a chance to tie up any loose ends.

I am very curious to see the squad selection this week with no Koscielny, Gabriel, or Mustafi at the back.

I have no idea what to expect, lol...

Arsenal specifically, yes. There have been a few occasions when he's broken down the issues with Arsenal's defense that I found interesting. Other than that, even on Arsenal related matters, I try not to listen.

that would probably be one of the worst things I could think of, a full year of a known lame duck manager. I don't think we need to waste another full season. We can celebrate Wenger plenty without doing that.

A full year could be the difference between getting a good manager or a great one.

I don't think there are any top managers available this summer, so you'd either be waiting a year or maybe taking a chance on an up-and-coming manager.

I mean, if you wait one more year I bet Carlo would be available.

yeah it does sound bad, but its not like there are high expectations with or without him. Look at this club's track record of waiting for the last minute to sign players, how do you think off season manager hunting could potentially go. I don't see any way this off season can be looked at in any positive manner, even if at best scenario we get a world class manager.
