GOAL! Mexico should be embarrassed at this performance. The US has done literally nothing until then.

All it took was bringing the B team and Tim Howard to win in Azteca! LOL

          Brek Shea is impressive.
He should play in the EPL.

What a huge confidence boost that should be for Shea. He needed it.

I cannot believe, out of all the great US teams we've had over the past 10 or so years, that this was the one to break the Azteca curse.

              Oh well! I'll take it!

no sharpness by Mexico. Ugly game. Fair result for USA. Well deserved.

                    Good win for the USMNT.

That said, the Mexico fans were AWFUL. Green lasers in Howard's eyes, throwing stuff at people, even the announcers, and cause so much trouble that they had to evacuate USA fans before the final whistle because of fear for their safety.

Sadly that's the norm for Mexican fans.

ignorance is in EVERY fan base including USA. Also look what el salvador fans did to Mexico a few months ago. Stupidity is everywhere in soccer unfortunately.

Except it's like clockwork every time the US plays at Azteca. Batteries, bags of urine, etc being thrown at anyone American (players, coaches, fans, media). Every time.

Pretty uneventful game, but I'm glad we were able to pull it out and put the "curse" to bed.
