There was also no need for him to bring on a 3rd CB either. Bring on Musah and get some control in midfield. Im not going to blame him for Weah’s headloss but all of the decisions after he shockingly got wrong.

I mean the ref is not why we lost this match. Uruguay will just shut you down when they know they don’t really need to win and that’s what they did. They’re always good at that.

I'm tired of watching American teams play cynical Latin American sides against biased officials...

... and taking hard fouls without returning like for like... and without the association calling it out. I've said it for years, at some point you have to stand up for yourself.

They are plenty happy to use American media and venues and revenue generating capacities... but in return, we get opponents that play cynical, often injurious football and petty, wilfully incompetent officiating.

As for the play... it's hard to say... looks the same as it has for years now. Not enough quality in the final third... final ball always missing.
