Who was that just jogging towards the ball? He should have had that before they tipped it in for the score.

I think it was #5...is that Gonzalez? Looked like he could have cleared it, but he just strolled over and the Honduras player got to it first.

That's Omar. I thought you were talking about the initial ball.

I know Honduras is a difficult place to get a W, but I really don't think qualifying for Brazil is a cake walk. I really wouldn't be surprised if we didn't. We didn't qualify for this round until the last game of the last round.

                    was it a 4-2-3-1 with

                    DMF: Williams/Edu
                    DMF: Bradley

                    L/AMF: Johnson/Kljestan
                    C/AMF: Dempsey
                    R/AMF: Jones/Zusi

                    ?

                    it looked bad.

the one(?) time Altidore got a decent feed he almost put it in.

Altidore looked like he hasn't played with this team in a year

Next match is at home against Costa Rica on 3/22.

Then in matches 5-9, 4 of them are at home. That's where the points need to really come from. Was it the best start? No. But it certainly isn't time to even think about hitting any panic buttons.

Yeah, it's definitely a tough stretch to start it out. That's why it would have been nice to get a point today. Just need to come back and get 3 in the next one, then get the Mexico away match out of the way nice and early and try to steal a point there.

Hopefully 3 at home and 1 or better away. Maybe will get help tonight as well.

What a brutal way to lose a game. Played well enough to win a point, but just gave it away.
