Fifa absolutely could afford to provide those countries with the technology.

Not a chance in hell they would actually do that though

So Jurgen Klinsmann signed a contract extension through the 2018 World Cup and he has become the technical director of US Soccer. It's kinda curious that the US decided to extend his contract six months before the World Cup final, but I'm not going to argue it.

Looking forward to seeing US Soccer continue to grow under Klinsmann.

Jurgen has done enough already to convince me that he was worth the extension. The improvements I have seen in this team have been great since he came along. He needs more time to reap the benefits from the overhaul is doing to the entire US Soccer system, give him the time.

The thrashing of England and Brazils U17s certainly shows a lot of promise. Also barely lost on a last minute goal to Portugals U17s. Won the friendly competition entirely.

                Nice...

some build-up play would have been nice to see...2013 saw the USMNT play the very best football they've ever played

Julian Green from Bayern called up for Ukraine friendly. Klinsi also putting full court press on Zelalem (Arsenal) and Shawn Parker (Mainz) to commit to the US. Looking for Brazil reinforcements???

Unfortunately Green can't play against Ukraine. But Klinsmann's definitely not taking his new (additional) role as Technical Director lightly. If he didn't go after Green, Zelalem, Parker, etc., I'd be upset.

US is lucky to not be down 2-0 right now. Back four is playing horrible right now.
