Eh, while it's shocking that Donovan didn't make it, he did make some good decisions. Like taking Wondo, who should honestly be starting up front.

Please tell me you're kidding. Wondo has no business being on the same field as Ghana, Germany, and Portugal.

We are deep $#!+. As if we weren't before.

Good to know the overreaction is starting.

Only decision I disagree with is the leaving out of Landon.

        Take a deep breath guys.

No, I'm not kidding. He is a goal-scorer. We're not going to play these guys off the pitch, so I want someone who's going to get his nose dirty. Not end runs and slouch around because things aren't going his way.

Wondo could bring a timely goal for us when we are overmatched. Give me an in form poacher like Wondo over an out of form and pouty Jozy.

Ching was a goal scorer. Against the Panama's of the world, just like Wondo. I like him too. Glad that he has found success.

I guess we will have to take a wait and see approach. If this group comes out and beats Azjer, Nigera, and Turkey, no one will be complaining heading into June 12

I know this sounds lame but I am with JB. I love what JK has done with US soccer since he arrived so I have got to trust he knows what he is doing.

He did pick Yedlin after all

Whatever. Roll with the boys we've got. Let's go.

In a way, I'm shocked that Donovan was left off the squad.

In another way, I'm not shocked that Donovan was left off the squad.

It's still a strong 23-man roster, which goes to show you how much our depth has improved since JK arrived.

                        I'm ready for some football.

I see this World Cup as nice experience for some young guys in preparation for 2018 when maybe we won't get group of death'd.

From that angle I'm fine with everything JK did. I don't think we had much of a chance to do anything either way, which makes experience the most valuable thing we can get out of this World Cup.

How about the biggest question. Why announce the roster so soon? You have 2 games before the deadline.

If you already knew the 23 you were going to roll with, then do that from the beginning. Announcing right now just gives a weird vibe.

The only thing I disagree with is leaving Donovan off, otherwise the squad is fine. I'm personally not a big believer in Mix, and that's who I would've left at home instead of Donovan. Definitely agree on Wondo, I heard rumors that he was going to be left behind, and I'm with guy who's real name isn't Tim in that I'd fancy Wondo over Altidore right now even.

If anybody should have been left behind for Landon it would have to have been Davis. Landon is unfortunately horribly out of form at the moment so I can understand why JK left him off.

The only thing I'd worry about now is that we have no real game-changer in the squad. Landon is easily our most clutch player, I just hope somebody on the squad will be up to the task.

                                Either way, onwards and upwards.
