I just saw the highlights. Too bad Kennedy didn't get contact with that goal, so it counted for him. Also those goals by West Brom were screamers. I was expecting a win, the team seemed to have turned a corner over the last couple games.

We should have just let Jose stay and ship off half the first team.

      More of Kenedy though please.
Yeah unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) no one else has Diego's drive and fight.

We've been on the wrong end of lady luck this year BUT we're not doing ourselves any favors either.

Do you think it's a slap in the face to Jose that Guus is using the exact same formation as Jose but getting better results?

I think if I were Jose I'd be pissed.

Oh I'm sure Jose is pissed.

Also, it definitely confirms the rift between Jose and the players. Honestly, I think something happened. I don't just mean all the little things like bad form/luck/low confidence etc. I think something happened behind the scenes that only the players and staff at the club know about right now.

You don't just go from comfortably winning the league to a relegation battle without without something major changing behind the scenes.

The defending on the 3rd goal was quite possibly the worst I have ever seen. Zouma and Bran literally just watched the cross come in and left Courtois for dead.

Also, the Kenedy for Pedro sub was puzzling. Pedro and Dave were running Oveido ragged. We had all the momentum and then he goes off and we lost a little bit of it.

I was so glad Matic came off, he's such trash and was passing more to Everton than he was to our boys.

Glad we salvaged a point but the sloppiness, especially on D, is mind boggling by experienced players.

Yep. Ivanovic and Zouma put their arms up hoping for an offside and stood and watched that last goal. Pathetic.

Chelsea stole a point as Terry was offside but that second half was very fun to watch from both sides.

To be fair to Hiddink, Pedro was lost almost the entire game until Costa scored. Pedro spent most of the game getting shoved off the ball, or just giving it away.

So yeah, still unbeaten under Hiddink but the flip side of that is we still haven't won at home. I really thought we would start moving up the table but after those two draws I'm not so sure. Poor defending in both games led to the draws.

I think that we need a CB and a ST this window.

Re: ***The Official Chelsea FC Thread***

With Costa seemingly picking up his form again, I'd say the only real reason we would need another striker is because both he and Remy are very injury prone. I'd say we either need to give Traore a shot or just ride it out the rest of the season and maybe give Solanke a shot next year. As far as I'm aware, Solanke is pretty largely regarded as the best striker in the Eredivise, which is pretty phenomenal for an 18 year old in his first season.

Bamford is, sadly, probably not good enough.

There really aren't any top strikers available in this window, so we'd need to go after a young dude most likely if we were going to do that. Apparently we've been linked to Pato, which would be interesting as he apparently isn't really injury prone anymore. Also been linked to Embolo, but I'm kind of torn on that one.

Either way, I don't think we are going to go big in this window. I think we will wait until the summer when we actually know who our manager will be.

I'm OK with both the extension and the buying of Pato if we are indeed going to lose Remy. I love Remy as a player but the guy picks up so knocks in training. Pato gives a legit speedster who can get behind back lines and quite possibly open up space for Eden/Willian/Oscar/Pedro etc...

I'm ok with the Pato signing, was one of the hottest prospects in Europe when he first broke into the Milan side, and there's still time to turn another his career. I can't see the logic in Lavezzi though. I'd much rather play Kenedy and develop a youngster instead of bringing in a 30 year old.

Oh yeah, I've been complaining all season about not playing Traore and I'm all for Pato too.

-He's likely a loan with option to buy
-Falcao and possibly Remy both leaving
-If he plays to his potential we just got ourselves an absolutely monstrous striker, if he doesn't then we don't lose out on much
                                -Costa needs competition
-Still room for Traore since we NEED 3 strikers as Costa will only play a few consecutive matches before getting suspended or injured and Pato would need a rest occasionally

Lavezzi signing is just beyond silly though 30 year old winger with not much left in the tank likely to be on huge wages. Just play Kenedy/Musonda.
