The first goal right away showed how much we missed Zouma and then Terry for organization. 2nd goal similar... Just too easy. At 1-1 though I was still upbeat that we would pull one more in.

More Terry than Zouma but the lack of cohesion in our makeshift back 4 was high exploitable. The Kenedy experiment at LB HAS to stop. He was caught way up field on that first goal. I don't necessarily fault him though since he's not a natural there.

PSG is just a better team. They handled us fairly well with 2 of their 3 middies having bad games (Matuidi & Motta). Rabiot was pretty solid.

Oh well, it was an entertaining game even though we were on the losing end. We need to address some positions in the summer and rebound. A lighter schedule next year(assuming we don't make the Europa) and reinforcements should see us get back into the Top 4. I wonder if Conte will go 3 in the back next year.

So looks like Conte is all but confirmed at this point. Just had backroom staff changes meeting today.

I wonder if that will hold true if he receives a six-month ban after next month's match-fixing trial. As I understand it, he could.

What makes me upset the most about the PSG game is that they weren't really that much better than us. They had 2 unconvincing wins against a team in massive turmoil and massively out of form.

Honestly, PSG was there for the taking at Stamford. They were giving the ball away so much in their own half they were practically begging for us to punish them. Their goals came from poor defending, and our midfielders legitimately let us down in the attack.

They were there for the taking and we bottled it.

It appears he acted like he was going to bite him but didn't do it. If he had, Barry certainly would have flipped out and he didn't respond at all.

Honestly neither team really deserved a win, both Chelsea and Everton were awful, just they had a person capable of winning the game despite the rest of their team, and we didn't.
