Re: ***The Official Chelsea FC Thread***
I guess Sarri is our new coach, per Koulibaly.
“(Chelsea fans) can expect nice football because he is a very good coach. I’m disappointed that he leaves like this but we have now a big coach (in Carlo Ancelotti). We know we can win something with him.
“I hope he will win something with Chelsea because he’s a nice coach.
“When a coach like [Sarri] comes he needs time. So I think they have to give him time because he will change the football of Chelsea, I think.
At Napoli we enjoyed it very much as players and the supporters enjoyed it very much. At Chelsea I think it will be the same.”

Re: ***The Official Chelsea FC Thread***
My theory is that this whole thing is taking a long time because of our negotiations with Conte, not Sarri/another coach.
Getting rid of Conte is expensive, and maybe Conte's contract is more complicated than we realize.Comment

Re: ***The Official Chelsea FC Thread***
obv it's just the gossip so i wouldn't take it too seriously but an early report said that while Chelsea won't sell RLC, another year long loan could be in the works.Support Local Sports

Re: ***The Official Chelsea FC Thread***
If we get a new manager, then he will look at the squad and evaluate, hence players like RLC could be viewed as needing more development and sent out on loan.
I’m pretty sure that’s all there is to this story, but we are Chelsea so you never know.Comment

Re: ***The Official Chelsea FC Thread***
Finally something happening, out of nowhere like 5 different journos reporting that Golovin signing is imminent. Also strongly linked with Rugani and Manolas, maybe we are trying to field an entire 11 of center backs.
Don't know much about Golovin, not sure what this would mean for RLC and Barkley.
Also sounds like our manager situation might actually be resolved soonComment

Re: ***The Official Chelsea FC Thread***
I didn’t really follow Golovin too much until they played Arsenal in Europa. From what I’ve seen he’s a little bit more comfortable in the center of the pitch than say RLC who’s probably better playing slightly wider.
The kid is good though, comfortable on the ball and has pretty good vision.
What kind of price tag have you seen flaring around?
Not too excited about Manolas. I’m OK with Rugani though.

Manolas is a good defender, though Rugani is probably better in the long run and I think he is a better ball-player.Comment
