I haven’t mentioned it yet, but I’d just like to say it makes me pretty happy to see Zouma turning things around and performing pretty well this season.

Re: ***The Official Chelsea FC Thread***
It was weird that he was dropped for a little while but AC played well in his place too.

Re: ***The Official Chelsea FC Thread***
Idk
He’s played more than any other CB so maybe Frank is just giving him a bit of rest.
A little flat today in front of goal but never really were under that much pressure. A fluke goal from a poor call for their only score.
Gilmour looks really good for a 16yr old. So good on the ball.

Re: ***The Official Chelsea FC Thread***
Looking like we are probably not signing anyone this window, which I guess we already knew.
Looks like RLC will be back before the season is over, Pulisic will be back soon, maybe that will be enough to get us over the line who knows.
Still feel like Tammy needs a better backup so all the scoring doesn’t fall on his shoulders.Comment

He's opted for Brighton. Just signed a 3 year deal.Comment

Guess we need to bring Mikel back?
Seems like we can’t trust others to properly take care of our family.Comment

It's just kind of unreal how the issues seem to keep escalating. Also that no one is really willing to do anything about it.Support Local Sports

Re: ***The Official Chelsea FC Thread***
Not sure how I feel about Kepa tbh.
He was mostly fine last season, think he's very low on confidence right now.
Onana is the rumored replacement, who seems like the real deal, but then again so did Kepa (although Bilbao fans didn't seem too upset when he left).
Pretty sure neither of our youth keepers (the two that are highly rated) are ready to for that big of a step up. Idk maybe Cumming is but Tie is supposedly the better prospect and he's basically still a toddler.Comment

Re: ***The Official Chelsea FC Thread***
I am done with Michy for a while. His confidence and finishing is absolutely in shambles. Not sure what Frank has against Giroud but unless Tammy is a go, Giroud needs to start. In the limited time against United he had a goal which was barely ruled out and almost an assist to Kovacic.
Wouldn't like to see a 3-4-3 at home but with the injuries not sure what is better.
Rudiger - Tomori - Zouma
James - Jorginho - Kovacic - Alonso
Willian - Giroud - Mount
Think I roll with Alonso and hope he has one of those games over Pedro to be honest.
We beat ourselves Monday along with some huge assists from VAR. Lets get the 3 Saturday and let Mo bitch and moan some more.Comment

Re: ***The Official Chelsea FC Thread***
Never liked Michael Oliver, but come on man. VAR... Really...
Lo Celso is a POS player. Makes Johnny Evans look like an angel.
Despite all the BS, 3 is 3. I wanted Alonso and Giroud and they stepped up. Barkley was the surprise pick and he did well I thought. Mount had a good game as well.
On to Bayer boys.Comment

Re: ***The Official Chelsea FC Thread***
It’s almost unreal how many poor game changing decisions have gone against us this year but oh well, 3 points and the double over Spurs.
Considering the circumstances (summer transfer ban, injuries, fixture pileup, etc...) Lamps is doing a great job and getting the most out of guys like Kovacic, Mount, etc... Even AC, who I’m admittedly not a huge fan
Of, has played well.
Bayern at home
Away to Bournemouth
Home to Pool in the FA Cup
Gonna need all available bodies
