I likely will never be a fan of Arteta because of the whole Partey thing, I think he’s a coward and the very few and extremely vague things he’s said in the wake of that stuff suggest he probably has opinions on the subject that would not be very popular.

That being said, he’s obviously become quite a good coach and Arsenal is an extremely good environment for young talent to blossom for several years now. Everything I’ve heard about Mudryk suggests he is an exceptionally hard worker in training, which is what I’ve been told of Martinelli as well.

I just can’t imagine Mudryk wouldn’t have blown up at Arsenal, or just any similarly stable and productive environment.
I've said my piece on the Partey situation before, but to reiterate—the entire world of professional sports is full of garbage human beings, both players, coaches, and management. If I don't separate it to some degree, I'd never be able to watch sports, so I separate it (but I'm very much looking forward to Partey's departure this Summer).

As for Mudryk, I think he'd be in the squad regularly, but I don't think he would've displaced Martinelli even if only due to how long it would've taken for Arteta to trust him and give him frequent minutes. He might be on the way to blowing up, but he only would've been there a little over a year now.

I know players say things and we can take them with a grain of salt, but even Rice came in and said he felt incredibly overwhelmed by what was expected of him outside of anything physically.

I'm happy with how things have turned out—Trossard was a bargain, there was money to secure Rice. I would've been happy with Mudryk, but I don't honestly feel we'd be running away with the title if he was in the side, as I don't think he's what's missing right now.

As for Chelsea, when the hell is Frank being given the reins again?

Why this guy still has a job is beyond me

Conceded 2 in each of our last 7 games.

In a game vs bottom Sheffield we go defensive and still play Gallagher with Enzo and Caicedo instead of trying to attack the team with the worst defensive record in the league.

Outshot and outplayed by bottom Sheffield.

Anyone thinking we are getting Top 6 is delusional

We managed to turn a hammering into a comedy show still lmao.

Guess that’s what happens when you have such a young team but still wild.

I have no idea what that moronic, embarrassing display was all about. I could take a few guesses, but nah.

I mean Madueke has done it more than once now.

Not sure if Jackson wanted to take it himself or was trying to argue Madueke should take it, but either way it was a clown show.

Yeah I don’t know what Nico was on. I don’t think he wanted to take it either but was arguing on Noni’s behalf.

I actually see Madueke’s side a little. CP was already on a hat trick and Noni is the alternate PK taker and probably thought he should get a goal since Everton were handing them out like Halloween candy. Credit to Poch for putting his foot down in the presser but why not do that earlier…it’s not like CP hasn’t taken 8 pks before.

Yeah, was watching that on Monday because the conference I was at was done early. It was like, huh, Chelsea is up 4-0 and finally going to have a normal week where no one talks about them. And it's gone...

                        lmao

                          Enzo isn’t the alternate?

Idk, either way, designated pk taker is the designated pk taker. Lampard didn’t even let Drogba take one, Madueke needs to relax lol.

                            Naa supposedly it’s:

                            Palmer
                            Noni
                            Enzo

Either way I remember a season where Drogba, Lamps, and Ballack argued over them all year.
