What gives me faith vs both Villa & City are the kind of goals we concede.
Teams don't break us down. They don't play over us or through us. We concede goals mostly from our own mistakes and tbh, we don't make those kinds of mistakes that often under Tuchel. A few outliers here and there but overall the players have adjusted very well to his system.
Everyone was freaking out when he played Alonso over Chillwell, benched Mount his first match, wasn't playing Pulisic, etc... He's given everyone a chance and the one's who are playing well are playing regularly.
Our only issue is in front of goal. Timo's so good at everything but finishing lol. He presses well, he pushes the back line deeper, he's a better passer than anticipated, etc... He's just in his own head when it comes to finishing.
Hopefully Kai and Kante's hamstrings are recovered by the UCL final. Having them available with 5 subs is good , especially if it means you want to play Kante from the start.

I'm still surprised with how bad your finishing is, why Tammy or Giroud have not been played more. I know Tammy misses chances but he is better than Timo right now and Giroud will always score if given a chance.Current careers:

It’s hard because Werner creates a lot of chances, so we trade that chance creation for better finishing but it’s not always an even trade.Comment

Yeah I think we'd all prefer to have a #9 that can score but he does a lot, even when he's missing sitters.

man he needs to get his ish together. Huge mistakes in nearly every match down the stretch that have cost us goals.
But once again...it's about the quality in the final 3rd. 14 shots in the 2nd half. 6 Big chances created...one goal.Comment

So it sounds like there is more of a chance of us getting Haaland than we all previously thought? Seems like it would be more likely next summer rather than this summer.

I actually think you have a better chance of throwing £150M at Dortmund this summer because next summer a release clause kicks in where it's somewhere between 75-100M and more teams are gonna be in.Comment

Yeah if we’re going to get him it’s gotta be now while we’re riding that UCL wave.
Next year when clubs like Real & Barca have a little more funds from stadium revenue, new sponsor deals, etc… the competition will be MUCH higher.
I think we’re more than OK with paying the fee, it’s the wages that he wants that complicate everything. Contrary to popular belief our current wage list isn’t that too heavy.

not terribly Chelsea related, but I started my new job, and I do breaks for a collectibles store, and i want y'all to know that i've opened more Chelsea autos than just about any other team.
Opened 6 cases of a single product and got 7 John Terry autos, also just opened a 1/1 Mason Mount auto.
I'm assuming this is somehow Brahv's fault, which is why I'm posting it.Support Local Sports
