You don't follow through that much on a short ground pass, that was not a normal follow through. That was a classic case of a player deciding to "leave something on him".

So the FA basically says:

"That was a bad thing Matic did, but he might have had a reason, but we can't discipline the other player because the match officials saw what happened and didn't give anything, even though we're reducing the suspension because of that thing. Because reasons."

Yokohama Rubber is officially our kit sponsor next season.

They're paying us £40M per as opposed to £18 per from Samsung.

I'm stoked about this. Much, much better than Turkish Airlines.

That finally puts us more in line with the other big teams in England, who are all making somewhere around 40m per year for their kit sponsorships. Definitely a huge boost in the wake of FFP.

Loved seeing Jose tell the youngins to raise the trophy. Gotta instill expectations into their minds early. This club is about trophies, no matter how big or small.

Props to the blue Kenyan. I thought he held our midfield together and allowed Kurt to seek and destroy. He also played some great passes and if Diego ' s pass had been in front would have been in on goal for one of those trademark runs.

Also, you gotta love Dave. 110% all game every game. That was a nasty blow to the back of the head.

Delighted! Dave has a great work ethic. Ramires and Zouma did well today as did Terry as always. Now we need to use this as momentum and push on in the league, especially seeing that City slipped up today.

If his mental game can get to 75% of his physical side he will be an absolute monster. I was worried about who our 3rd CB was gonna be when Luiz left but Kurt has put my fears to rest. I'm much more worried about Cahill.

Of all the missed chances today, the one that made me sickest was Willian because I felt like he and Hazard both blew it on that one.
