That is the Chelsea way but I also enjoyed the Ancelotti title where we scored at will and set the record for goals in a season.

      God.

People always talk about Jose getting booted out the door in his first stint, but we did Carlo so much worse.

We really did but then again...so did Real.

When I get bored, that's my go-to Chelsea season-highlight video to watch. The last match of the season when we were chasing the goals record & Drogba was chasing the golden boot....put Villa to the sword.

Real didn't do Carlo nearly as dirty as we did.

Sacked in the tunnel at Goodison for winning the double and finishing second the next season.

I agree but those European early exits pretty much doomed him. He was super eff'd when Roman forced Torres on him.

Can we stop trying to buy players from Napoli? Jesus. Their owner is almost worse than Levy, we just need to move on and get some people in asap so they can start training and whatnot.

Agreed, hadn't even heard of Koulibaly before this summer so how he's worth £40-60m is beyond me.

From what Serie A fans say, he probably is worth somewhere in that range. Problem mainly is that Napoli's owner is a lunatic. We aren't going to get anywhere it seems, so we should probably just move on.

It has to hurt that we're trying to do business with a team involved in the CL so late which means they have to try to find a replacement too.

Honestly, I think a lot of it is Conte being at the Euros. He had less time to evaluate the squad and so transfer stuff had to wait a bit. Obviously some of the squad needs are a bit glaring, but that can't have helped things.

I guess we are linked with a LB from Fiorentina who is supposedly very good.

Also, it's entirely possible the board is dragging its feet because of Christensen, who is one of the most promising defenders in his age group. If Zouma makes a full recovery and Christensen comes back next summer then we have potentially a top class CB pairing without having to spend £60m.

                        Nice game today.

Matic seems to be improving each game, and Oscar hasn't played this well in a while.

Batshuyai looks fantastic every time he plays, could have easily had a goal or two today, and was great in the buildup to the third goal.

All in all, another very solid performance.

If we sell Christensen to Gladbach for €25m our entire board needs to be fired and probably beaten just for good measure.

I think it's Kante's presence. He covers so much space and allows for Matic and Oscar to focus on linkup and getting forward. Look at how many times Oscar & Matic popped up in the box and tbh, we want Oscar as close to the box as possible.

                            That 3rd goal build-up though!

The 1-2 play out of trouble by Kante and Bran. The ball by Oscar to Michy's feet who took a hit and still played a nice ball out wide for Pedro. Pedro's quality ball into the box and Moses' finish. Just a beautiful transition from defense to attack.

Hopefully we stay healthy during the break, sign a defender, and come back to take care of business vs Swansea.

I still don't see it but maybe that's why Conte is the manager and I'm not
