Looks like Palmieri and Ampadu have been confirmed starters against Hull. Look forward to seeing Palmieri and hoping for repeat performance from Amapd

Meanwhile Callum Hudson-Odoi did not play yesterday in the Youth FA Cup so perhaps this means we will see him Friday.

Really interested to see who starts up top vs Barca. I guess it’s good to have options.

That brief period when both Costa and Remy were fit was probably the best we've had in a long time in terms of striker options.

Of course Michy is lighting it up as soon as we send him out.

Even his link-up play and passing has been good.

It's almost like being told you get to actually start games is a major confidence booster, who would have thought?

            Lineup:

Chelsea team: Caballero; Rudiger, Cahill (c), Ampadu; Zappacosta, Drinkwater, Fabregas, Emerson; Willian, Giroud, Pedro.

Subs: Eduardo, Chalobah, Sterling, Scott, Moses, Hudson-Odoi, Morata.

Mostly pleased with that, with the exception of Hudson. Honestly, a lot of Chelsea fans keep saying that Cahill's regular inclusion is Conte's "Jose with Brana" moment, but it's definitely Pedro.

Pedro has been one of my favorite players since he got here, but his form this season has been so poor there is no reason to keep playing him over giving Hudson a chance. This is the exact scenario that most talented youth players break through; one player ahead of them becomes regularly injured (Willian), and the other is in terrible form (Pedro).

Just disappointing, Hudson-Odoi is one of our academy crown jewels, it would be a shame to screw him up the way we messed up with RLC.

Let's not overreact but I'm pretty confident we are breezing past Barca next week en-route to winning the CL.

Hardly, you were on the front with the best medical facilities but no better doctors. There is no doctor in the world that could change Sturridge damage precursor (hell), he also got his chances, but were up against Abramovich failure favorite Torres. I saw him against Liverpool in 2011 where he was a substitute and scored, played well. What you are victims of is your lack of faith in youth, even if you have one of the world's biggest Academy and not least the most players on loan. Which team you could have had today with patience, but it has never been your oileark's best ability. Maybe you can just give Mr. Mourinho blame, the man is totally overrated, see what he all threw away in Chelsea. But Chelsea have always played (almost) good or extra good against FCB, some amazing matches,I saw the match in 2012 on the bridge, where your best player ever scored 1-0. Good luck on tuesday.

My comment about Sturridge was just kind of a throw away “what if”, most Chelsea fans are well aware of our shortcomings with integrating young players.

Anyway, I love Drogba with all my heart, but he is not our best ever player.

Your official club magazine rated him in 2012 to be the best player in the club's history.

I'm not going to look up the stats but we've routinely been near the top since late 2000s in terms of matches missed due to injury.

To be fair, that was after the 2011/2 UCL Final so emotions probably played a part.

                                Yeah exactly.

Drogba is certainly a club legend, but I don't know any Chelsea fans who consider him our best ever.

Depending on your age I suppose, most fans will either say Lampard, Terry or Osgood.

I don't think there is a wrong choice between those three. Personally I think it's Lampard, though it's worth pointing out that only one of those three is called King of the Bridge.
