Now Morata is saying he’s fit.

This could be Torres all over again in the sense of trying to play through an injury with his eyes on a WC spot.

Back injuries are not good to mess around with either

And everyone knows he has a bad back too which means he’s going to be targeted.

Alright I'm not one of those guys who wants their club starting 11 teenagers every game because he thinks they are all wonder kid, future world class players.

Having said that, I don't understand how Hudson-Odoi isn't even on the bench. I love Pedro but he has been atrocious all season, this is the most common type of scenario where we see youngsters break through at other clubs.

Willian is carrying a slight injury I think, so it makes sense that he is on the bench, but Hudson hasn't actually done anything wrong yet to suggest it's riskier starting him over Pedro. I get that this is a must-win game for Conte, but Pedro simply doesn't deserve to be starting right now and Hudson is easily our most talented academy player since RLC.

My guess is that maybe he’s slotted for some minutes against Hull as Conte should rotate heavily against them with Barca looming.

              Giroud taking a beating already.

I mean, play him in both games honestly.

Pedro isn’t offering anything at the moment.

Yeah, I guess Conte likes his tireless running but IMO if “defensive contribution” is the best thing you have going for you as a winger than you have bigger problems.

Even that part of his game isn’t helpful at the moment because the second he wins the ball he loses it and the other team regains possession.

Yeah, he’s extremely low on confidence right now.

I think this tweet pretty much sums up Hazard to a tee:

“Hazard thrives on audacity, he takes pleasure in what he does. It's not a job, it's not life and death, it's love for him. He's never going to be the never say die, chest out, kind of guy. But get him motivated and enjoying his football and he'll destroy teams just for fun.”

                      Today was such a day

                        Yeah that’s about it.

Most non-Chelsea fans and pundits always talk about how his numbers should be better and he should be more ruthless, but that’s just not his game.

He just wants to have fun, he loves to play. Maybe a similar comparison would be Ronaldinho, who many say would be the best ever if he just had better work ethic. Well maybe with better work ethic, Dinho wouldn’t be the same player? Maybe he was so good because he was always having fun and never serious. Changing his attitude would be changing who he is as a person, and likely part of what made him so good.

I think most non-bandwagon Chelsea fans feel this way about Hazard tbh. He’s a joy to watch, a successor to Zola in so many ways. I don’t want him to change who he is or how he plays.

Hazard and Alexis seem like opposites in that fact. You could put Alexis in a five a side against seven year olds and he'll only give 100%

Giroud got banged that game but I love what he does for us... in limited time he already has assisted Hazard twice. You can tell Hazard is enjoying play off him.

Also got pretty sad there with Sturridge. I've always liked him, just a damn shame with the injuries.

I wonder what would have happened if we had given Sturridge a legit chance as a striker.

We had the best medical team in Europe back then, perhaps we could have kept him fit longer.
