I'm in Houston so I'm very happy to see NRG selected. I've got to get out for at least one of these matches.

I'm hoping to get to a couple in Chicago. Where's the Midwest OS soccer contingent meeting up for beers before the matches?

The CA starts a week before the Euros. Once the Euros start, there's going to be high level international soccer on all day for 2+ weeks or so. Fantastic.

El Clasico not as much fun as in recent years. Barca is too good.

Although Suarez was offside and continued his run while drawing defensive attention on the Neymar goal, but whatever.

Real will reload soon enough. Barca has a damn near all time great attack with those three up front.

That team seriously seems like someone edited an FM database to create a super team. Neymar/Suarez up top is good enough to win La Liga in itself - watching them work together is something we should enjoy while it lasts. Oh, then Messi is sitting behind them. SMH

There's nothing wrong with what Suarez did there, so I'm not sure what you're salty about.

You can go ahead and admit they were better when Jose was there, plenty of players are.

                  Re: The Beautiful Game Thread

As good as Neymar & Suarez were at finishing their chances Busquets and Rakitic still never get the credit they deserve for pretty much controlling the midfield every match offensively and defensively.

As soon as I saw James, Kroos, and Modric in midfield I knew they would get run. Kroos and James are just too weak defensively and don't have the legs to pressure constantly. Cassemeiro should have started to help give Ramos & Varane some cover. Poor Danillo, he got run ragged because he was basically defending his entire flank by himself and still expected to get forward.

I still can't believe they went out and got Rafa. There will be a player mutiny against him soon.

True, it's easy to take for granted all of those 100% spot-on passes from midfield and behind because they so routine from those guys. Yesterday was ridiculous though.

Kinda feel bad for him. It's a no win situation. They were never going to win La Liga over Barcelona. That team is too damn good.

                      Rafa's getting sacked most likely.

Ah, don't follow them closely, so I didn't know about that Audi thing. Could just be that.
