You guys forget that the penalty and the 2nd red card was only in ref's imagination. They would still lose 11vs10 but not with that huge margin.

That doesn't change the fact that Real Madrid did nothing wrong.

It's a derby, of course they inflicted the most pain they could.

Alright I am watching the beIN 90 in 30 of the Real v. Rayo game and I have no problem with the 2nd red card. The yellow card was warranted, the defender pulled Ramos down. Can't comment on the first as it wasn't shown for some reason.

It was late and a little high. So I can an argument for the red. And on running up the score, these are getting paid to play. I don't give a **** if the score was 15-2 or 2-1. You play until the final whistle.

                  Re: The Beautiful Game Thread

I haven't seen the match but I have no problem with what RM did.

You see, the result is not the problem it's a symptom. The problem is the EXTREME financial imbalance in Spain (which, of course, RM and Barca do everything in their power to ensure continues).

There is a reason that the EPL is the most popular league in the world. The money is balanced much better in England which makes the league more balanced and keeps things much more interesting.

If RM wants to stop getting criticized for 10-2 beat downs, they should consider spreading/sharing the wealth for the betterment of La Liga. Of course, that will never happen and the big 3 in Spain will continue to face little resistance each year until the UCL knockout rounds. Boring!

Yeah, running up the score doesn't exactly go against fair play or anything. Actually, attacking play is encouraged at all times. It would have been worse to play keep away for the entire 2nd half at 4-2, which they could have done.

                      Now that would be shameful.

Not official yet, but that's all the 6.30pm press conference could be. They should never have sacked Ancelotti.
