LA is pretty screwed now. No Omar (gold cup call up), Donovan, Keane and possibly Dunivant. Maybe another 5-0 loss is in the cards for us.Comment

I'm following Chivas USA a bit more closely now since Erick Torres has been added to the roster. I'm really hoping Torres can find confidence in his game again and become that goal scorer he was a few years ago that even gave him a national team call up, and what do you know he scores Chivas's goal that gives them the victory over Toronto! I'm very confident he'll find his game. Also based on what I read, it looks like Bocanegra added leadership right away he's making his presence count.Comment

He had a great chance to score earlier in the game and he just kind of froze, you can see the lack of confidence but hopefully that goal helps him out. Being a Chivas fan I've been hoping to get to see that Fierro-Torres combo in action before Fabian possibly leaves.Comment

Yeah his confidence is LOW. He played waaaaay too much and given too much responsibility at a very young age with Guadalajara. He didn't have any time to rest due to international call up, and at the first sight of a decline in his game the Guadalajara fans started to really put him down. I didn't get to watch the game, but from what I read it looked like the chivas USA fans really like having him, that's what this player needs. Support. Looking forward to seeing his goal scorer side again at Guadalajara. Fierro is developing great as you said. Also Casillas and G. Hernandez are looking very promising. Hernandez is going to fight for a starting spot. Fabian and Sanchez really need to stay on guard.Comment

oh yeah. What's really awkward is that last year before LA's playoff run, a lot of athletes and celebrities cut little promos wishing them good luck and Nash was one of them because he's on the Lakers. And then we go out and eliminate his club in the first round. lolI didn't realize Steve Nash (NBA) was one of the Vancouver Whitecaps owners.

MLS doing a great job with helping to develop and attract CONCACAF players. Saw quite a few people wearing FC Dallas shirts cheering on Panama. Not sure if they were Panamanian or just FC Dallas supporters but that's a good sign for the league. Will be great to attract fans of the nations where those CONCACAF players are from.Comment

Yeah I know. What I meant was I wasn't sure if those people were neutral FC Dallas fans just cheering on Blas or were supporters of the Panamanian National Team as well. BTW, anybody have a link to the Chivas USA piece on Real Sports?Comment
