Apparently its the best offer he's gotten. He's bounced around so much at the club level I honestly think the move to MLS would be best for him. He's started on two relegation bound clubs in Racing Santander last year and Mallorca this year. There is really no guarantee he'd get the playing time with a top club like he would with the Galaxy. Playing with Landon Donovan would be great for him as well imo. We'll have to see though.

Re: OFFICIAL 2013 MLS SEASON THREAD....
He should look at it like this: come to MLS. Get way more playing time and bigger paydays than he would with Valencia most likely. Have all the freedom in the world here when it comes to national team duties. Put up big numbers here and then possibly get an even bigger contract in Europe in a couple years again. He's still very young.
Also, with Beasley transfer listed at Puebla does anybody think the Chicago Fire might try to bring him back? Would continue to add to their offensive firepower.Comment

Dos santos most likely won't want to leave Europe, but as most of you have said he's bounced around way too much already. Big clubs aren't interested in him because he's played with relegation bound teams. Moving to MLS, he can regain form, and also since LA has good football, he can feed off of everyone's chemistry and really show off how good he is. It's the right move, hopefully he'll take it. Valencia sounds like a real good opportunity though if they're serious about signing him. For me, he should sign with MLS only if Valencia don't offer. Any other team lower than Valencia he shouldn't botherComment

Yeah he really just needs some first team action again. Heard that Beasley has been linked to Tijuana. They're pretty much turning into San Diegos team, proving that Chivas USA made a mistake by not moving to San Diego.Comment

Re: OFFICIAL 2013 MLS SEASON THREAD....
Wish the RSL/LA match and Cascadia Cup wasnt so close together. Robbie Rogers is slowly starting to look more and more promising. Was wide open in the box after some great play with Zardes but Zardes didnt have his head up. Wonderful one on one play and cross by him that Landon Donovan couldnt tap in. RSL scores to break the 1-1 tie just as I'm typing this.Last edited by HKPound; 06-08-2013, 11:34 PM.Comment
