The lines getting into the stadium were awful yesterday. Really hoping it was just first game rustiness by the staff. Can't wait to get to Allianz next year.

This had multiple issues that all fed into one larger issue. First, there should've been a filter point getting off of the light rail to filter people to more appropriate gates. Gate D and Gate C were flooded, but Gate B and A were much faster moving.

Secondly, at least in my line, there were a myriad of issues with the clear bag policy, which honestly just kind of blew my mind. Out of all the stadiums/arenas I've been to with this policy, they have it VERY clearly marked, and I swear MNUFC Tweets/FB posts at least once a week about it.

Thirdly, hand-wanding everyone at the busiest gate was just a nightmare.

Glad to see we're stepping up the tifo game. I'm guessing that the Dark Clouds have been talking to the right people to make sure there is a built-in pulley system at the new stadium. We need to aspire to Portland levels of tifo.

Looks like Minnesota is actually going to sign a Designated Player. Colombian Darwin Quintero from Club America. Supposedly could be wrapped up tomorrow.

A little conflicted, because it would be neat for an MLS club to win the CONCACAF CL, but Chivas vs America in the final would be an epic bloodbath.
