Burnley out of the bottom 3. A fantastic few weeks for them.

Nervy finish, but United was mostly in control for a majority of the match, especially the 2nd-half. The scoreline should've been 4-1 to United, but careless finishing prevented that and almost bit us in the *** if De Gea and Young didn't play heroics in the dying moments.

Our backline is looking way better, plus they're distributing the ball from the back with confidence. Rojo and Smalling have played well these past two matches, and kind of look like two Rio Ferdinands when they play the ball. I can't wait to actually have a consistent defense when Rafael and Shaw are back. Herrera, Mata and Fellaini have looked great in the middle, with Carrick playing the shield in front of defense. Still, they weren't distributing the strikers well in this match after both RvP and Wilson made good runs.

Now that dude Wilson.... Pace, confidence and skill. He's definitely going to push the more established strikers out if they don't produce. For all the talk of United losing their identity, LvG has handed a number of debuts and starts to a number of our academy players. Feels great!

Daaamn, Harry Kane almost had Spurs up 1-0 with a header off the cross bar.

And again Kane almost gets a goal.

          Good start for Spurs!

            God, Chelsea is so good.

Made that 1-0 look so easy.

Such a promising start, and now down 2-0. It'll be a miracle to scratch back and steal a point. Now just don't let it get embarrassing, like it has against the top teams in the last couple years.

Agree 100% I was happy that the backline is looking better and not giving up stupid goals. The goal stoke scored yesterday was a little lucky that the ball deflected perfectly to their player but that was beauty of a strike.

Wilson is going to be really good in a few years and I hope this creates more competition up front because rvp needs a push. He has been horrible lately, and falcao isn't totally fit yet. Hopefully rooney and di maria injuries aren't too serious so they can recover quickly.

I've been very impressed with herrera and fellaini lately. And de gea...man he is in great form. Man u is going to be ok, especially when they get their full squad back

Get ready for an entire half of Chelsea playing keep ball just outside the Spurs penalty area.

Spurs need an upgrade at CB. When Jan Vertonghen first came to England he looked very promising. He was atrocious last night.

Their manager is also vastly overrated.

We weren't talking about Liverpool, but you're probably right. Not very happy with his stubborn *** so far this season. But Rodgers is actually being questioned a lot by the media and Liverpool supporters for the team's performance. December is make-or-break time for Liverpool's season.

I just remember when I got told that Pochettino was doing everything he could with the talent level at Southampton last season.

Yeah that probably sounded more malicious than it actually was. I think Rodgers is a good manager, I just think he was very overrated after last season. Rodgers for me falls under the same category as Poch, good managers who can get good results for mid table sides. I've said before I never thought Rodgers was a permanent fixture at Liverpool, he isn't what you guys need in the long run. He is going to help push you guys in the right direction but ultimately I don't think he's top club material, at least not in the foreseeable future.

Obviously things can change and Rodgers is very young for a manager, so he could easily prove me wrong. But, based off what I've seen from him so far, he does not look to be anywhere near the level you guys need him to be to propel Liverpool back into top gear.

On another note, in relation to Spurs, you will never convince me that letting AVB go was a good idea for them. AVB is definitely going to be a top manager one day. He is insanely intelligent and knowledgeable about soccer, all he needs to work on is his man - management and he will be a monstrous top level manager.

That will end up being an unbelievably huge mistake by Spurs.

I feel kind of bad for Rodgers sometimes because no matter what his tactics are, his central defenders AND keeper can turn into a circus sideshow out of nowhere.
