Looks like it's only going to be a one year absence from the Champions League for Man United. And they should beat Liverpool.

All any of you guys had to do was carry even a little bit of your form from last season over to this one and United would be out of reach of a Europa spot by January.

        You guys are all worthless.

Hoping this turns out well for Newcastle, been told we can't sign an emergency goalkeeper on loan... All because of a major **** up. Krul, Elliot, Alnwick and Karl Darlow (on loan a Notts Forest) are on our PL squad list that was submitted at start of season. Even though there is no recall clause in Darlow's loan deal, PL rules state that an emergency loan is not permitted if a team has two fit goalkeepers registered for them and Darlow is still classed as in our squad yet we can't get him back...bloody typical comedy of errors with us. Having to dip into the U21's and bring up Freddie Woodman as sub goalie as can use any amount of U21 players in a PL season. Tough run ahead for us too.

          (a) Arsenal
          (a) Spurs (COC QF)
          (h) mackems
          (a) Man Utd
          (h) Everton
          (h) Burnley
          (a) Leicester (FAC R3)
          (a) Chelsea

Those games will feature Alnwick as Krul is not likely to return until the home game v Southampton and Elliot is due back shortly after. Hoping Alnwick will do well after a great 2nd half performance v Chelsea last week.

Try and sway free agent Victor Valdes from Man Utd's clutches.

Great read from Meulensteen on United, England, and the state of the English Game.

I'd love to gloat, but it's only Liverpool.

                      Oh boy

So glad we are back to the old ways of United playing like a League 2 side and winning anyways.

That would make us a Conference side then.

Being a little harsh on the Conference don't you think?

I'm beginning to wonder if Rogers knew they would be this bad, and brought in Balotelli just to have someone new to blame. How do you hit the target 8 times, but still get shut out by that Man United team?

Monday Night Football Analysis of some matches this past weekend. Gary, in particular, shows us how much De Gea has improved this year (15 min. mark of the first video).

I recommend all football fans watch Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher analyse a match, they're the best IMO.
