Coming from an Arsenal fan who celebrated last years FA Cup victory

The FA Cup means very little, I think just about everyone would take a PL title over it

I've heard of the Premier League before, but never the FA Cup until this season. Is it just winning the FA Cup gives you more bragging rights since you are technically the best team in England?

      Thanks in advance!
All of us love the FA Cup. There is just so much magic and crazy things that happen in that competition. There is always one random team that is semi-pro down in the 8th division making a run to the 3rd and 4th rounds or teams in Conference getting to 5th round or lower league teams getting to Wembley. See Wimbledon's upset of Liverpool back in the 1980s. Pure magic...

However, nothing compares to holding the EPL or Champions League trophy. Because they take place over the course of a whole season, it's a much better reflection on the strength of your side while cup competitions come down to the luck of the draw, matchups, and if the higher ranked teams brought their best players to play. Last year, Arsenal never played a road match the entire tourney and didn't leave North London. Great run, but I would have given my dog and my future kids to see them hold the EPL trophy.

The only thing I enjoy about the FA Cup is seeing the big clubs travel to tiny hole-in-the-wall fields and face lower division teams. Other than that, it seems like a giant cluster**** tournament, with bizarre rules, like having replays instead of extra time and penalties to decide a winner.

You really wouldn't have like the old way then. They used to replay matches (even the final) until there was a winner. Now the first replay goes to ET and pens.

Technically, the best team in England is the winner of the first division (the EPL). The FA Cup is prestigious because it is the oldest cup competition in the world, but in terms of priority, it's always going to be second to winning the league.

That said, I'd love for the club I support to win it. United have won it the most times but haven't done so since 2004. That really needs to be rectified.

              Cambridge United 0 - Manchester United 0

Cambridge earned themselves a nice payday.

Was about to put a bet on Bolton to beat Liverpool, but betting on a Bolton win has been suspended. Seems every man and his dog here are now trying to bet on Bolton!

Or left Ander Herrera on the damn bench. That guy has contributed to more goals in 8 games than Fellani and Carrick have combined in 20.... But cause Van Gaal yucks it up with the media he's fine... In my mind, Utd spent £160 million to be in the exact same place they were last year. It's just us, Liverpool and Spurs have been derp, derpier and derpiest.
