Re: The 2014-15 EPL Discussion Thread
The shocking part is how quickly they lost a 9-point lead (I think it was 9, right?). It took what, 5 matches?Comment

Re: The 2014-15 EPL Discussion Thread
Any real Chelsea fan should have been fully expecting to drop points against Newcastle and Sunderland. We also don't have a very good record recently at WHL, I honestly thought it would be a draw.
So, to me at least, not that shocking. I never tipped us to go unbeaten or anything.
Also, I can't remember too many times a team successfully carrying a massive lead through the New Year. I guess I just expect that dip.Comment

Re: The 2014-15 EPL Discussion Thread
Especially with the fixture pile - up and a small squad. Not making excuses, just saying that I didn't expect us to run away with it. There's too much money being spent in the league on quality players to make every match a gimme.
Citeh gets Aguero back but loses YaYa to the ACN. Why they have that tournament on an annual basis is beyond stupid.Comment

Everyone: Steven Gerrard off to the Galaxy, probably best for him, the game has passed him by a bit.

Re: The 2014-15 EPL Discussion Thread
At this stage last season, United had the same amount of wins, with one more goal scored and 3 more conceded. Tell me more about how dire it was under Moyes and how Van Gaal is such an improvement. I see no new philosophy, I don't even think he has a clue how his team has been winning games.
Oh, but he totally subbed on a goalkeeper that one time and it was genius!
200+ mil worth of attacking talent and "route 1 to Fellaini" is all you can come up with?Comment

The ONLY reason United is anywhere near top 4 is because Liverpool/Everton/Arsenal/Spurs have completely **** the bed this season.Comment

Also, let's not forget that most of that team pretty much hated what Moyes was doing, and resented him for being the guy who replaced Sir Alex. And yet, same number of wins.Comment
