Sissoko is not a DM, that's pretty insane if Arsenal buy him and call it a night on their midfield needs.

Re: The 2014-15 EPL Discussion Thread
I know he isn't, just going on strong rumours up here in the North. Be gutted if he does go.
In other news though, after a really **** week to be a Newcastle fan, it was nice to go to the NUFC U21's game today and see Jonas Gutierrez, as our designated over-age player, play his first game since beating testicular cancer. 48 days after getting the all-clear. Chuffed to bits for the lad, much loved by all up here and is a complete grafter.
He actually had a good game for us too, setting up the second goal in a 4-1 win v West Ham U21's.Comment

Merry Christmas to all on here! Hope it's been a great day wherever you are. As for me I've been wanting the day to pass, up early in the morning to travel down to Old Trafford for Newcastle's game v Man United. I don't think the game will be pretty for us in black and white, but it's always one of the best trips going down there, Boxing Day certainly is the right day I'd say haha, we always get a fun "warm" welcome from the Red Devils xDComment

Re: The 2014-15 EPL Discussion Thread
Finally home in Newcastle after a heck of a trip to Man United. Utterly arseholed from a day on the drink starting at 8am in Newcastle and now back in my pit 14 hours later. If I went on away trips for the football, I'd probably have jacked it in years ago haha, awful team selection from Pardew and MUFC's class shone through.
I'm convinced Yoan Gouffran has dick pics of Pardew...that's the only plausible reason how he gets so many starts as he's ****ing gash. Cisse's penalty was a belter though and full credit to *every other Newcastle fan alongside me, we sang the whole game, outsinging 70,000 MUFC fans, them only popping up when they scored haha. We were even told off over the tannoy at half time for disrupting a bunch of singers on the pitch, they tried turning up the stadium mics, we just turned up our noise. Great day out xD
*Aside from the two arseholes who started making Munich references to MUFC fans...promptly set about them once we left the stadium...wankers.Comment

Like I said, Chelsea is Newcastle's cup final. They roll over vs all other top teams and play the game of their lives vs us. Oh well.
Honestly I was a little worried about West Ham.
Also Harry Kane is fantastic. His positional awareness better than any other English forward I can think of atm besides Rooney. He is a really intelligent player.Comment

Re: The 2014-15 EPL Discussion Thread
Aye, each team playing 3 games in 7 days, hectic. Two home games ahead for Newcastle though, Everton tomorrow and Burnley on New Years' Day. Burnley I'm not looking forward to, got to walk 4 miles into town for that one as no transport running and taxis are tripling prices, **** that... Rather walk with the lads and have a good drink all the way to town haha!Comment

Re: The 2014-15 EPL Discussion Thread
Ref was pretty bad and way too lenient on Saints players but we just couldn't put anything away. I thought we played pretty well but Saints players defended heroically.
Really frustrating though how teams like Newcastle Sunderland and Southhampton play the game of their lives vs our team then just roll over and die against the other top teams.Comment

Re: The 2014-15 EPL Discussion Thread
I kinda feared going into this season that they'd be stretched thin with the Europa league. Didn't see them being quite this bad, but I'm not shocked that a smaller club like Everton has struggled to balance things.Comment
