Re: The 2015-2016 EPL Discussion Thread

    Teams for tonight:

West Brom: Myhill, Chester, Dawson, Lescott, Brunt, Morrison, Gardner, Fletcher, McClean, Lambert, Berahino. Subs: Olsson, Yacob, Ideye, Anichebe, McManaman, Sessegnon, Rose.

Man City: Hart, Sagna, Kompany, Mangala, Kolarov, Toure, Fernandinho, Jesus Navas, Silva, Sterling, Bony. Subs: Zabaleta, Nasri, Aguero, Caballero, Demichelis, Denayer, Iheanacho.

    Referee: Mike Dean (Wirral)

An FYI for anyone that was not aware of it. Aston Villa vs Man Utd is on Friday night and not a weekend match. They had to move the game forward because of a protest rally going on in the area. Check your local listings.

Am I missing something? Where is free and on demand?

I'm just glad I know someone who is willing to share their cable login with me so I can watch on Live Extra.

Yup, no chance Everton-Watford last week would be regular cable.... None. NBC has knocked it out of the park with the coverage and here's to hoping it gets better and better.

This and college football are the only reason I still have cable now.

It's "free" if you have NBC Sports Network. Unlike Fox where you have to pay to get certain games they have rights to even if you already have every Fox channel.

Its West Brom, but City is gonna have Yaya for a full season and they have some good attackers. I just think Pellegrini in the hot seat and rumors of Pep doesn't help.

West Brom are going to be pretty decent. But it's not like we haven't seen Man City dominate teams then dick about 5 games they should win easily in the past.

I do agree with his point. But only because I don't see how United is better than them, not because City is going to run through the league.

Gotcha. Just making sure I wasn't missing anything.

I'm lucky enough I can use a friend's cable subscription to watch Live Extra currently, but I'd love for them to do a proper streaming on demand service available on Roku/Apple TV.

Us cord cutters need some love.

I have an Apple TV and there aren't many apps that you can use without a subscription to the app or TV channel. Now I don't use many of them, mostly Netflix, Showtime and HBO Go, with WatchESPN used every now and then. All of those need an account/subscription. The only I can think of that you don't need one for is Crackle. All of the others one you need an account for. Also the TV networks are doing this not the league, obviously.

What's to criticize? They know what they paid for.

His first touch is pretty poor (Sterling's). Almost the exact opposite of Silva's who has the ball glued to his left foot at all times.

H got the ball stuck under his feet on that weak shot vs the keeper.
