I think said something about a quad or calf. I can't remember now. I was watching spurts of it while doing some stuff around the house.

City fans cheer the Chelsea medical staff as they run on the field to treat Cahill.

It's the little things in life that are the best.

This is easily the worst game Chelsea has played in a long time. Also I am really liking Tim Howard on commentary.

Wonder what happened to Terry though, Zouma has looked shaky back there.

I wonder if this is going to be a theme for Chelsea throughout the season. I know its only two games and I expect Chelsea to contend for a top four spot, but by doing virtually nothing in the transfer period, I think it's asking alot of the same group to re-energize for a title run when everyone around you has improved on paper.

Sometimes a key addition or two can provide the collective the hunger it needs to compete the following season. This applies to every sport, not just here.

This is why I didn't understand people picking City to finish 4th, or behind United. They're a top 2 team unless someone significant misses significant time.

He's okay, but I still find it a little weird to have an active EPL player call a match like that.

I think it's understandable, given they looked to be aging quickly last year as the season wore on. However, if people dug a little deeper and looked at stats like Expected Goals and such, it sure seemed like an unlucky season more than anything else...as unlucky as a 2nd place finish can be anyway.

There's legitimate concern for Man City in years to come, but right now most of their key players are in their prime or just exiting it. They should be great and really tough to get off their game, given their experience.

Now my feelings have changed a little. Because I figured he had retired over the summer and I just didn't hear about it. But where is still technically an active player it definitely is a little weird.

The reason so many people picked City to drop out of the top 4 is because United and Arsenal make up a large majority of online fans. These are also the two teams who most desperately want City to fail.

They haven't finished outside the top 2 in years, they've followed each unsuccessful title challenge with a successful one, and despite their "implosion" last season, they still finished 2nd very comfortably.

City is the best in the league IMO. We have a lot to do or this season is going to get away from us fast. Cahill and many others have been terrible so far.

What's wrong with Ivanovic? Worst I've seen him play these last few games.

The real question is what's wrong with Terry? The first time Mourinho has subbed him in out an EPL game. Seriously, anybody got an update on this?
