Replaced United with a different team and it's gonna be "Newcastle defended really well" -- which they did. On the upside, our attack carried over from Brugge and we created many chances. Still very frustrating to not get a goal. The Rooney offside call was very unfortunate and usually, the attacker gets these calls.
This is exactly the type of match that screams for Ander Herrera, yet for some reason, LVG still insists on keeping him on the bench. I'd really much rather have Mata in the hole behind Rooney and have Herrera play the wide-midfielder role that Mata is currently occupying.
