Man, it takes a real, how do you say...specialist in failure to lose nine games out of your first sixteen.

More matches than points and 1 point above the drop zone on December 14. I don't even know what to say about that. Amazing really.Comment

Mourinho never, ever gives credit to the other team when they are beaten. Never! He really pisses me off with that.Comment

To be fair, it is Chelsea's horrible form and dysfunction that is resulting in all of these losses more than how the other teams are playing.Comment

The lone solace Chelsea fans can take in all of this, is that the worse we get, the more hilarious it is that we beat Arsenal.Comment

He was very complimentary towards Leicester. I think Jose's lost the room now. Regardless of whether he's a good or bad manager, if your players aren't responding to your management the writings on the wallComment

I'd hate to think he's lost the locker room, he doesn't really have a history of that, but it's looking increasingly like that might be the case.Comment

Re: The 2015-2016 EPL Discussion Thread
Some thoughts after yesterday's win against Chelsea:
We need 4 players in this winter transfer window. 2 CBs, 1 CDM and optionally 1 striker.
We can't defend set pieces and especially corners. We need to improve in that matter asap. Ranieri was unable to change the formation after the 65' min mark because Ulloa had to defend in set pieces. The team could easily crash Chelsea to pieces by replacing Ulloa with Inler and changing to a 4-1-4-1 (4-5-1 with Inler as a Defensive Midfielder between the defense and midfield).
As it is and considering how other teams play right now I can't see how Leicester will drop out of Top 4 even if we start losing some games. Mourinho's tactical approach was very good imo and that's why he blamed his players for the first time in the post match interview.
My, maybe excessive for some here, optimism comes also from the future tactical approach teams like Everton and Liverpool will follow against Leicester in their home matches. They'll try to attack in numbers, especially Liverpool. My prediction? They'll be in danger for huge defeats against Leicester. Time will tell though.Comment

I can understand your optimism and applaud it. But you're missing out on one factor - injuries for everyone. Given what I've seen, Leicester have as good a chance as anyone to finish in the top 4. It's so wide open this year. But, if Mahrez or Vardy get hurt then I'm not sure you have the depth to overcome thatComment

Everton and Liverpool are far more likely to win against Leicester than Chelsea currently are, and they're far more likely to score goals.
Leicester are top of the table, and have given up 22 goals—you have to go down to 14th in the table (Bournemouth) to find a team who has given up more goals at this point.
It'll inevitably cost them more and more points, especially in their upcoming games. For the record, I want to see Leicester as close to the top as possible (but not first), but I'm still not convinced they won't come crashing back to reality due to their inability to defend while also scoring.
I'm really looking forward to the Liverpool match, though. Should be quite entertaining.Comment
