Re: The 2015-2016 EPL Discussion Thread

IMO, I would probably have LVG 3rd right now in the running for Manager of the Season behind Ranieri and Pochettino. His (LVG) defensive approach, even in attack, is doing a great job at hiding United's liabilities (No other reliable defender apart from Smalling. Darmian started off well but has faded a little. -----a 19yr old ST in a new league----you're star horribly out of form---etc...)

3rd in the table and only conceded 1 at home in a league where there are only a handful of games that are easy 3 pointers. We all knew/know that he's only there warming the bench for Giggs but he has a great job at getting United back on track after Sir Alex left behind an aging squad and Moyes nearly burnt Old Tratfford to the ground.

It's not visually pleasing, even for a Chelsea fan, but it's effective and IMO winning trumps everything. You're not Real Madrid so style points don't count. Red Devil supporters and their "United Way" need a reality check. Start bombing #'s forward and see that backline get destroyed.

Wait, whu? So only Real Madrid are allowed to demand entertaining football? That United Way has been there since Matt Busby and is a tradition. Considering the current course of the club at the moment, results matter far more than style and LVG is delivering, but I'm still hoping he gets to deliver on his promise of more attacking football. The foundation has been laid, but he's clearly still fixing the side.

No, I think the Madrid ownership is highly delusional. Firing Ancelotti (one of the best managers of egos & attack-minded managers) was just idiotic and reactionary to their direct rival's success.

What I'm saying is basically what you said in the last statement. LVG's job is that of a fixer's. He's there to regain that stability and get enough results to stay in the Top 4 while they phase in younger and better attackers. If that means you're grinding out 1-0 results then so be it. One thing we both know is that LVG is as stubborn as it gets, so he won't give in to the pressure of playing more entertaining footy.

If the team continues like this he will be fired early next year. The majority of ManU fans are furious with him and, trust me, most of them don't care about the results and the 1-0 wins. They want to be entertained with attacking and attractive football. The way LVG's ManU played against Leicester is an insult to the history of the team.

Who is this majority? Are you saying all the match going fans want him out? That's quite ludicrous.

There's no ManU fan that wants LVG. He will be sacked as it seems the board have already decided under the huge fans pressure. ManU is known for their attractive, fast paced football for many decades. LVG wants to turn this club to Chelsea. He's gone already.

And you have knowledge of this how? I'd really like to know when he will be sacked.

Dele Alli loves the volleys....that was a nice goal. If there's a team that needs secondary scoring, it's Spurs. How many of their draws could be wins if they could add someone else who could score? Not that I'm upset...

And I'm sure Jose will still make time to troll Arsene Wenger despite his own dumpster fire.
