Re: The 2015-2016 EPL Discussion Thread

I don't think Sunderland have become an embarrassment per se. Nothing was expected of them when they came back up in 07-08, and they've managed to stay up for 7 seasons now.

They're basically what they've been throughout their entire modern history. A Division 1.5 club. They are overdue for a relegation actually.

For me, both Sunderland and Newcastle have far too many resources to be as bad as they are. Huge fan bases, huge stadiums, plenty of money at their disposal (both clubs routinely out spend clubs that finish above them). Even the players, both teams often have players that are good enough to finish much higher than they do.

By all accounts, those two should be very solid mid-table clubs. There is really no reason those two clubs shouldn't be battling it out with Soton and Swansea for the upper mid table spots.

Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic missed the majority of October and November's fixtures with a hamstring injury, but is ready to return to competitive action.

Looking forward to Zouma or Ramires playing RB while Baba is still on the bench

Liverpool vs Spurs is an interesting start for Klopp. West Ham Palace looks like a good game too as well. Everton United and Swansea Stoke won't be too bad either. I really hope that we can get back on track against Villa though.

If there is a team dire enough to lose to Chelsea right now, it's Villa.

Big 6 point relegation swing this weekend boys.

You have got to appreciate the desire and fight from Leicester. 2-0 down and now 2-2 in injury time. 9 goals for Jamie Vardy. What a fun team to watch.

Classic Newcastle. Scoring 3 goals before halftime and still look like they could lose this game at any moment.

Refs completely missed that. Sissohko was def offsides and interfered with play.

Newcastle playing Keeganball again? Or is Norwich just terrible?

5yrs ago if you would have told me that Stoke would have Shaquiri, Bojan, Arnautovic, Affellay, etc... I would have asked you for whatever it is your smoking.
