Re: The 2015-2016 EPL Discussion Thread
Who do you guys think are going to win their matches this weekend?
The main one that I'm looking forward to seeing(even though i'm a Palace fan) is Leicester vs Man U.
A fixture between the top 2 teams in the premier league this Early in the season? This is bound to be an interesting contest.
Here are my picks for this week:
Palace vs Newcastle: Palace
Bournemouth vs Everton: Everton easily
City vs Southampton:City
Sunderland vs Stoke: Draw
Villa vs Watford: could go either way but I'm going to say Watford in this one.
Leicester vs Man U: I want Leicester to win but I don't think it's going to happen im going with United on this one.
Spurs vs Chelsea: This may come as a bit of a surprise to most of you guys but I have Chelsea winning this one(This is my "upset" of the week)
West Ham vs West Brom: i'm not really sure which way this'll go so I'm just going say this will end as a Draw.
Norwich vs Arsenal: The gunners should win this easy.
Liverpool vs Swansea: Anything is possible when the "lesser" teams go to Anfield but I think that Liverpool will get the job done against Swansea.

Re: The 2015-2016 EPL Discussion Thread
I think there's a little homer bias there. You guys have made a great start, but it is teams like Chelsea and Man U that will give you guys problems. Man U will play their sterile, hard to watch football and stifle you guys. If you can nail them on the counter and score first, then I think you'll have a better chance at winning. The longer the game goes scoreless or if United score first, I wonder then how you'll respond.
Chelsea have struggled, but you know eventually their defense will be better. It's one thing to score at will against the Aston Villas of the Prem, but teams like United and Chelsea won't take you lightly now.
Well, this is awkward.Comment

Or right after the ensuing kick-off. Such stupidity to not wait 'til the final whistle to run onto the field and celebrate. Given that the ref had said +5 and the Bournemouth equalizer came at +7, the ref added an additional 2 minutes thanks to those fans.Comment

I was inside King Power yesterday. A fair result but there was a feel that we could have won that one. Again a goal conceded from a set piece (corner).
ManU were hopeless with possession. LVG must be sacked immediately. This team cannot create chances, there's no movement at all and they just sidepass and backpass without purpose.
Ranieri learned the lesson from the home game against Arsenal, we played the waiting game successfully but we need to work more the set pieces and also sign 2 quality defensive players and 1 midfielder this transfer window.
That said, the team proved that has the quality and confidence to stay on top 5. The only teams that can be creative when Leicester will play 11 behind the ball are Man City, Arsenal and maybe Tottenham. It's obvious that LVG's ManU can't win Leicester and they will have even more trouble in their home. The same applies to Chelsea with their boring, slow build up and we will see this kind of game again after the Swansea away fixture.
Needless to say that if the team manages a draw result against most of the the top tier teams we may see one of the biggest EPL surprises ever this year.
Congrats to Vardy. He totally deserves it. His movement into space and behind the defenders is genious. You rarely see this kind of smart football players nowadays.Comment

Re: The 2015-2016 EPL Discussion Thread
The game sucked because ManU did nothing to be creative or take risks. They just kept passing sideways without any reason. When Leicester had the ball ManU happily parked the bus but we tried more to create chances. LVG seemed delightful with the draw and that's why all ManU fans want the board to sack him today.Comment

I was hoping the same too but unfortunately we're unable to defend well corners. There was no other way for ManU to score. Only a set piece.Comment

It has been a very entertaining season to watch as a neutral. Five teams within four points of the top and Liverpool in sixth playing very well under Klopp.Comment
