Well you know how it is with Man Utd but that goal was very reminiscent of Henry. But we have seen this plot before with many Man Utd players.

Shocked Watford got the win over Swansea.

And that Norwich 3-1 over Bournemouth is shocking to me also. Cherries had shown much better against stronger teams and got draws. Then to lose like that.

Re: The 2015-2016 EPL Discussion Thread

Why is there no legit on demand service in the US for the EPL like there is for every other damn major league in the world? I can watch every game from every other major league on demand without TV service, except the EPL. For that I have to either get a shady stream with crap quality or have cable/satellite TV. And even then NBC doesn't offer every game, so why would I pay all that money for that. It really pisses me off.

I mean Fox covers Bundesliga, Scottish Premiership and all European international competitions. BEIN covers La Liga, Serie A, MLS, Liga MX, Eredivisie, Ligue 1, Primeira Liga and the Brazilian Serie A. Plus Copa America, Copa America Centenario, CONMEBOL, Football League Championship, English League Cup and Swiss Super League. I can watch every game in HD from those leagues/competitions on demand. But for EPL games I am pretty **** out of luck. I have to settle for crap streams from kodi. And that only covers two or three games a week. Usually ones I don't care to watch.

It really drives me nuts that I can't just pay someone $20 a month for this service. Why doesn't this exist in the US? WTF!

To be fair, the pace and control he was playing with to score was "Henry-ish." I mean it was just one goal but he looked like he was just in a completely different gear than the defenders.

But still, Benteke took the cake. That was a f'n rocket.

It's only Henry-esq because people want it to be. I've seen dozens of players score that exact goal and rarely was it called Henry-esq.

The Henry stuff started before he scored the goal. When he was being subbed on they mentioned Thierry was there, and they're both from France, blah blah. It's a pretty unfair comparison for the kid.

I thought he acted as if a 19 year old scored a wonderful goal in a heated rivalry one goal game on his debut minutes after subbing on and weeks after being aquired in a hotly debated transfer......

The Henry comparison was due to nationality.

Still doesn't justify the crazy price they paid for him.

French; from the same neighbourhood in Paris; came from Monaco; comes to the EPL.

People still going on about the transfer fee? If Martial is as good as everyone from France says he is, it'll be good business considering a lot of other clubs -- reportedly Barca, Chelsea, Man. City, PSG IIRC -- wanted to get him before United did. If he doesn't pan out that way, I'm sure we'll see some great memes.

NBC does offer every EPL match for free with a TV subscription though which is more than I can say for Fox who tries to push their crappy online service for a fee. I don't know about BeIn's online package, I still don't even get BeIn in HD through Comcast although I can watch any cable channel from anywhere.

Don't even get me started on FS1's online coverage. The last I checked their online video streams didn't even have the Time & Score.

Bit ridiculous to claim him the next Henry after 1 game.
