The Sack Race aka Official Management Carousel Thread
They're going after Poch first? Hope it's a lot of drama.

Re: The Sack Race aka Official Management Carousel Thread
Considering how off the pace Madrid were in the league, and how they rode out the knockout stages to just get through, any new manager coming in will have a hard time. They haven't refreshed the starters in a while, and they're due for a little transition period.Comment

Re: The Sack Race aka Official Management Carousel Thread
Agreed BUT it’s hard to for a team with such a great first 11 to “refresh”.
They’re still loaded with very good young talent not too mention that young Brazilian wonder-kid Vinicius they’re bringing in. It will be always be a nightmare job the second things go wrong but Zidane did a great job at rotating while mixing in youth.

I missed it in all of the hullabalu, but apparently Leeds also sacked Heckingbottom after poaching him from Barnsley to replace Thomas Christiansen, and now Marcelo Bielsa is the lead candidate to replace him. Believe he'll be Leeds 11th manager since 2012.Support Local Sports

Re: The Sack Race aka Official Management Carousel Thread
Leeds are such a poorly run club, from going into administration, to having an owner banned by the Football League for tax evasion. And now being linked with Sam Allardyce.
I still remember the great side they had when they reached the semi-finals of the Champions League against Valencia way back in 2001. Players like Mark Viduka, Harry Kewell, Nigel Martyn, Lee Bowyer, Jonathan Woodgate, Robbie Keane, Alan Smith, Rio Ferdinand, etc.Comment

Graham Potter is the new man at Swansea, officially.
RB Leipzig appear ready to tap Jesse Marsch as their new head man during the MLS break between 14 June and 24 June. Marsch, for those not in the know is the current manager of the New York Red Bulls.Support Local Sports

If you haven't been keeping up with Rapids, this would've turned out to be a very Sunderlandy appointment. Should've done it, aye.
This is official, good luck to him!Support Local Sports

Julen Lopetegui will take over at Real Madrid after the World Cup. Hopefully in about 2 weeks when Spain crashes out of the group stage again.Comment

Re: The Sack Race aka Official Management Carousel Thread
Honestly had no idea Lopetegui was even a candidate.
I thought for sure it would be one of Allegri/Guti/Poch/SarriComment

Re: The Sack Race aka Official Management Carousel Thread
Neither did Spain apparently since they've fired him 2 days before the World Cup.
