So happy to have it even further confirmed that Sam is nothing more than a firefighter/survival specialist. An absolute failure at managing a club with any type of actual expectations.

Was Sam gone anyway or was Rooney to DC the reason? With Sam gone does Rooney stay?

They'll probably just switch jobs with the way these guys get recycled.

The funny thing about Moyes firing is that you could make the argument that was one of his more successful recent managing stints since West Ham was in the relegation zone when he took over.

Chris Coleman, Simon Grayson, Sam Allardyce, David Moyes, not a good time to have Sunderland on your resume

Darren Moore has made the grade and is appointed the manager of West Brom.

Steve McClaren has been appointed at QPR.

Carlos Carvalhal has officially left Swansea

Paul Lambert has officially left Stoke

Well that's one team to eliminate right off the bat for promotion then.

The fact that McClaren can still find jobs is pretty much definitive proof that Pardew will be managing a team within the year.

This was one of those things when I saw it yesterday that I had to attempt to explain to my wife why I was laughing so hard, so suddenly.

Oh, he'll be somewhere, but perhaps he'll actually have to drop down a league.

                              Managerial rounds -

DailyMail(so no one real) says Pellegrini to West Ham on 5m/year is all but finished

Gary Rowett(Derby) was given permission to speak to Stoke(City)

Recently fired Chris Coleman is apparently "in the mix" of managers after Sunderland's takeover was completed and they look to appoint a new boss ahead of their season in League One.

Arteta and Emery seem to be the final two for Arsenal.

Viera looks to move to Nice.

Lots of smoke building up around Emery being the guy for Arsenal.
