Mignolet has saved 7 OF 15 penalties in the EPL, lol

Finally got that King Power monkey off the back. I'm sure that was absolutely fantastic for everyone else, but holy ****, I'm a puddle of emotions right now.

I really enjoyed the Liverpool match. When they went up 2-0 I thought it would be a dull match but of course Liverpools defense always finds a way to make it exciting.

As a pure shot stopper he’s a beast.

More wonderful refereeing as Yedlin gets CLEARLY stomped on and no card to be seen.

Newcastle has now lost to both the other promoted sides.

That's what I said too. A lot of Man City and Chelsea fans were saying C.L. from what I have seen. I thought I was the odd one saying P.L.

Easily the CL. Winning the League is always fun because of the bragging rights BUT us Chelsea fans will remember our CL run forever. Napoli 2nd leg comeback. Ramires' chip. Nando rounding Valdes. Drogba's header from the corner in Berlin and of course his penalty.

                            Just curious, what’s your reasoning?

Chelsea and City fans were saying CL because it’s a bigger deal. I just can’t see why anyone would say league, with Liverpool being pretty much the sole exception.

I get why they’d choose league over CL. They want to become a true English power again, they’ve got 5 European titles already and a CL win in the modern era, as well as plenty of deep runs to the semis. They have a unique situation where winning the league has become arguably as important for them as winning the CL.

I just don’t see why any non-Liverpool fan would want the league over CL.

Honestly, I'm just not a huge fan of the CL or EL. I like watching the games but I'm not as interested in them as I am league games. I prefer watching PL teams playing each other instead of teams playing each other from different leagues.

                                That's fair enough I guess.

But yeah your first instinct was correct, I'd imagine your opinion is in the minority lol.
