Another splendid week of football done. A bit annoyed that City has managed to lose against Liverpool and United. We simply must beat them on Saturday and I honestly don't think that's very likely but you never know.Comment

Their confidence may have taken a hit, and if they lose again to Liverpool (at home this time), then I think your guys will smell blood in the water on the weekend.
Alternatively, if they come out fired up looking for vengeance and ransack Liverpool, I think you guys would probably be another victim.Comment

I think you have a solid shot to be at least their third defeat in four games...possibly their fourth in a row? Sounds crazy, but at this point is quite possible.Comment

Re: The 2017-2018 EPL Discussion Thread
We have an appeal by Spurs to get their 2nd goal awarded to Kane. Drama!
I don't care either way, but I haven't seen an angle where you can tell if it hits him or not. Was definitely going in either way, but he's claiming it.
Round 10 this season of Liverpool and Spurs Twitter embarrassing themselves yelling at each other.Last edited by ImTellinTim; 04-09-2018, 03:49 PM.Comment

But in the big picture, is it even worth it to appeal? Does it really matter if 1 goal is missed?Current careers:

I've only seen a club appeal to get an own goal changed. I think Liverpool did it on a Suarez deflected goal in his big scoring year. (Might have just been awarded without an appeal, don't remember). But never have I seen a player publicly lobby to take a goal off a teammate like this. Everything about it is so bizarre. From Kane tweeting at the MOTD guys to clear it up on the show and swearing on his daughter's life that it touched his shoulder. To the over the top reactions from people about it. If the guy is this adamant about it and going to these lengths, just give him the damn goal and move on, lol

Kane is probably trying to get the goal so he can have a slim chance at defending his golden boot for the 3rd time.Current careers:

That's why players like Walker and Rose didn't start complaining until they started losing playing time. Same with Toby this season. When they lose playing time and can't reach the easy incentives, they start complaining. It's been a growing trend the last 2 years.Current careers:
