This is what happens when we suck it up and let them beat us at the Bridge for the first time in a thousand years.

I was just looking at the table. Burnley is going to be the Europa League next year. Crazy.

I kind of hope Dyche stays, would be interesting to see what he could do if he's allowed to spend a little money.

Also, their style of play is perfect for cup competitions, I hope they take Europa seriously.

A few weeks ago they looked like they might finish above Arsenal. Which would be a big deal for a club like Burnley to finish above a big club.

I hope they don't cash in on players now and that they decide to keep the team together.

I think they can tbh, only question mark might be Dyche himself.

The thing about Burnley is they don't actually have any world class players, or potential world class players that bigger clubs would want to poach. At best they have a bunch of players that might be considered decent backups at a bigger club, but almost certainly not starters.

With the promise of European football, I think Burnley could at the very least keep this squad together for next season.

There are only two "must win" matches all season, and none of them are against Chelski.

I completely disagree with this. Beating Chelsea was more important this season than beating Arsenal. I was actually happier beating Chelsea because of the state Arsenal are in, it would have been a major letdown to lose twice to them.

Beating Chelsea at the Bridge was huge to end the streak against them and to increase the lead for top 4.

Chelsea vs Spurs has been significantly more spicy than the NLD for a few seasons now

Agreed. I will always have special hatred for Arsenal but I find Chelsea, City, Liverpool and United more important than Arsenal this season and last season.

They're important because they are roughly the same strength and we're battling for the top 4. So beating Chelsea was important, but not because it's Chelsea. Those celebrations happen when you "break a curse" or when you beat a team you're directly in contest with for placement.

Fantastic save by De Gea on Glenn Murray's great strike! Brighton playing well early on.

Definitely underrated, but you really enjoy watching him play? I thought Liverpool fans were firmly anti-diving this season rofl, he’s easily one of the worst in the league, way worse than any Spurs player.

Only player that surpasses Murray is Wilson but he hasn’t quite been at it as much since returning from his injury.
