He's pretty bad at tackling (when he actually makes an effort to), but to label Pogba a dirty player is quite a stretch.

I mean, clarification was need in this topic about which player he grabbed around the neck and threw to the ground. Next you're going to tell me Fellaini isn't dirty either.

Both players received yellow cards from John Moss so no retrospective bans can happen now I believe. If I'm not mistaken, the only way retrospective bans can be handed out is if the referee & assistants did not see the incident and it was not noted in his match report.

          Fellaini is just misunderstood..

I’d personally have given them both yellows and be on with it.

Pogba yes, but putting your hands on another player's face/neck area is pretty much always a straight red. Especially the way Noble does it, he's so aggressive and clearly very intent on hurting Pogba.

Players have, rightfully, gotten red cards for gently placing their hands on someone's neck/face. If Noble's fingers were even just a tiny bit longer he'd be legitimately gouging Pogba in the eye.

Suggesting Noble should get anything less than a red for that is nonsense.

Maybe people should get 10 minutes off the pitch if they receive yellows.

                  Yeah that's fair.

I just think if you touch the opponent's face/neck area it should always be a harsh punishment without exception.

In other news; promotion playoffs started today with Derby beating Fulham 1-0. Fulham was pretty bad for the most part, could have been worse than 1-0.

Middlesbrough vs Villa is tomorrow, second legs of both games midweek

Derby was pretty bad as well, and Fulham should've managed a better result.

Oh for sure, Fulham are the favorites here in general. Makes it worse how they played imo, especially considering Derby's form in the second half of the season has been very suspect.

Think Fulham should still go through.

It would be very weird to see JT captain another side next year.

Part of me is selfishly hoping he gets them promoted and then retires.

Pretty great that NBC Networks are showing West Broms last PL game instead of Wengers.
