Is his name seriously pronounced Guh-Nabry, or is it just the announcer butchering it? I always thought the G was silent and it was pronounced Nabry.

Its pronounced ger-nab-ree. But people say ga-nab-ree on tv all the time. Every game I've ever watched they say ga instead of ger.

I believe it's more of a quick "ger", and not at all a "guh" sound—he's just lacks the ability to not anglicize surnames.

And all Arsenal supporters (or most) seemed to know we'd miss him dearly. Yet another brilliant bit of transfer handling in our past.

Consider the "ger" just the sound of trying to get the G out as quick as possible before pronouncing the rest. It's less of a "ger" and more just the sound you make as you switch from the sound of a single G into an N.

As for the match—just like yesterday it's another where I'm sad to see the half because of how it was starting to pick up.

Southampton reject Sadio Mane and Schalke reject Joel Matip on the board for Liverpool. Sadly Matip for the other team. Really not expecting Liverpool to face too much to pull this one out.

I don't disagree, but as a betting man, I'd take the team with arguably the best centre-back in the world, and one of the best goalkeepers in the world, when all they need to do is not let in a goal to win.
