Dream group for us I would say would be something like Liverpool, Shakhtar Donetsk, Slavia Prague & Genk.

Pot 2 is ridiculously strong. Whoever draws Shakhtar or Benfica will be relieved to have avoided some of the bigger teams.

Liverpool get a cakewalk group and win again while City gets the toughest group and capitulates because I’m not allowed to ever see them win the CL. There you go guys, don’t even have to watch from now until May.

Oh no, just pure nihilism. They’ll **** it up because I can’t have nice things, life is largely meaningless, and the teams/people I hate will get all of the accolades and success through luck and serendipity all while rubbing it in my face and making me feel less than.

And before someone responds “you won the league”, who cares. It means nothing compared to the Champions League. It’s a hollow trophy. There aren’t any Liverpool fans here even mentioning it because they know it means nothing.

I would easily rather win the league at this point.

So they're having the Champions League draw during Europa League matches. Europa League draw tomorrow.

The show is supposed to start in about 20 minutes. The actual draw? Probably be over in about 8 hours.

What? Look back at my post last time the question was brought up - think it was early last season or the season before. I would have rather won the league last year too. The reason we don't talk about winning the league is because we haven't won it for like THIRTY YEARS. It's pretty much the last banter point anyone has with Liverpool.

Liverpool is probably the only fanbase that thinks like this at the moment.

You sent me antagonizing tweets last year after one of the worst sports losses I’ve ever experienced. And you continued to make me feel like garbage after.

Amazing. 20 minutes in just to get to Pot 1 draws. Then probably another 30 minute way for the second pot. What a joke this is. Just doe the draws and then all the dumb bull**** after that no one cares about.

Think you are taking this a little too personally.

Liverpool fans are sort of developing a small rivalry with City due to competing directly against each other for 3 straight seasons now, so any trophy won by either side is getting rubbed in people’s faces.

But yeah, I can confirm that most Liverpool fans would prefer winning the league to the CL. Even before last season, Liverpool were already unfortunately able to claim they are the kings of Europe amongst English teams. Winning another CL doesn’t really change that status. Domestically though, they will absolutely never be seen as having “returned to power” without a league win, and even then they will need to win more than one to really reassert themselves just because of how utterly dominant their hate-buddies in Manchester have been in the Premier League era.

The time before that I said something about the final annoying many EPL fans and you got mad at that and responded, so I responded back with a dickish reply. But then I said that you'd have another chance this year (which you do, you're actually the betting favorites before the draw).

I didn't continue to do anything after that.
