This could be another 9-0 thumping for the Saints.

Nightmare day for Bednarek. Glad he's no longer on my fantasy team.

So did Che Adams actually have a goal taken off because his hand was offside?

Looks like it. So against the spirit of the game. Really wish they stopped VAR until they figure out how to use it properly and WHEN to use it properly.

Let's be very clear here; it isn't a difficult concept and they aren't having a hard time figuring out how to use it properly.

VAR has laid bare the complete lack of accountability within the PL ref system, and the overall lack of competence.

VAR itself is fine, other leagues have implemented it just fine, this is not a VAR problem it's a premier league ref problem.

Well that’s the thing. The refereeing isn’t great, but the VAR is being judged by........premier league referees lol. Blind leading the deaf.

Yep, every single time I start typing "**** VAR" I stop myself and remind myself that the technology and general theory of using video replays is not the issue—it's the league and its officials.

Video replay is not making a farce of the Premier League—its officials are. They've been doing it for years now, and nearly every manager has pointed it out. It's just that now they have a new avenue to showcase their incompetence, and what sometimes even seems like intentional malfeasance.

I've said before that I'm not going as far as saying games are fixed, but all you need to do is watch the league and read Clattenberg's statements again to know there are serious issues with impartiality and consistency.

No, I'm not saying we'll ever see an English Calciopoli, but I wouldn't be surprised to see something relatable in some way. The poor calls and inconsistencies are so incredibly frequent that to deny the possible existence of the possibility is impossible.

                        Cheers.

If I was an official, I'd be fixing games left and right. To cover my crazy *** long shot bets I was placing online.

                            Yeah exactly.

I'm just saying, if we are throwing out anything it should be the current crop of referees not VAR.
