The question is, will a league cup win satisfy them? We know it'll satisfy Mourinho.

Re: 2020-2021 English Football Thread
If Luiz doesn't get sent off on Tuesday, I think we win at Wolves, and if we took the chances we had today, we could've escaped with a draw. Huge points dropped.Comment

Very curious to see how Lindgard does for West Ham. He's really made several years out of a few weeks of good form before United finally figured out he can't actually play. See if it holds true stillYankees, Manchester United, Chicago Bears, New York RangersComment

Re: 2020-2021 English Football Thread
Now we wait to see if the league will publicly say their most senior official was wrong, even with the benefit of slow motion replays, as West Ham will surely appeal.
Appeal denied, I’m sure.
For years, the league has been about officials. They want to be seen, their names known, etc.
Hell, you used to be able to tell Clattenberg would wait until he knew the cameras were on him to respond to challenges, gesture, etc.
There is a culture of showmanship with referees in the Premier League, and that’s the last thing that should exist.Comment

Pathetic. I’d complain about the extra extra time but it’s United and we e been on the other end of some embarrassing extra extra time. Can only blame themselves. Even in extra time they didn’t actually try to grind the clock.Yankees, Manchester United, Chicago Bears, New York RangersComment
