I’m still waiting for Liverpool to break out of their slump. Since winning the title they haven’t looked the same at the end of last season or the friendlies this year.

Most Arsenal players returned to training a week ago, and wow, it's showing. They're absolutely gassed. They're sitting back even more than before, and I don't even know if they can muster an actual counter attack at this point. A second for Liverpool feels imminent.

Yep, either way I am very pleased with today’s performance. Similar to when we beat them at the end of the season, but better.

Would not have bet against Liverpool in the shootout, actually kind of surprised Alisson didn't stop one of the Arsenal shots, which is how I thought they'd win it.

It's Liverpool, and it's against Arsenal, and it's English refereeing, AND it's a glorified friendly, I assume many of us just yawned and called it a day.
