He was given another start to a season and the wheels were coming off. Part of the issue is the club can’t commit. He was part of the quick fix approach, which wasn’t working. The issue? They removed him but still kept trying to go half that approach and half long-term building.

There were positives from his time (youth introduction), but I don’t think he was the right fit overall.

That was an obvious penalty. How did he not give a foul live? He’s looking right at it!

What in the world is Aurier even doing there? Bonehead move.

And Spurs go right up the field. A better pass from Son could have had Kane in. What if they had scored? Do VAR wipe out their goal and still go with penalty?

I’m actually not sure. Kind of wish this would have happened just for the chaos.

There's lots of problems with VAR and that sort of instance bugs me.

We heard Peter Drury say , " VAR are currently checking a potential penalty" as Spurs are on the attack. I think the whistle should instantly go. Not wait until a goal at the other end goes in or what if a red card offense happens before he's asked to look at the monitor? So many what ifs.

I mean who would have ever thought, Spurs would get themselves in a position of promise, only to let down their supporters.....again......

So instead of bringing Vinicius or Bergwijn on, you bring on Harry Winks?????

It’s all about not conceding and getting Bale fit lol

Maybe Spurs players should worry less about calling for a foul or handball on EVERY single play and more on making smart passes not to the opposition
