Yeah, it's always talked about how he should be given a shot with more assets, etc, but he's basically perfect for them.

Definitely a modern "there was contact" penalty, but you know me, I'm going to blame Højberg. Perhaps if he doesn't go in like, well, Højberg he doesn't give up a penalty.

      The '**** Højberg' Campaign continues!

That was such a soft penalty call. Gundogan didn’t even have control

In a way, everyone is to blame, and I really mean everyone. Before it got out of hand, it seemed like we (as in spectators and those in the game) agreed and allowed the notion of “contact” to dictate penalties. We’ve literally heard it for years—“well, there was contact there” and what not.

It wasn’t until years of this and players embracing it even further that we all seem to collectively pissed.

My point—we put up with soft penalties and contact penalties for so long because it slowly creeped into normalcy over years (a decade at least) but now we’ve hit a point when it’s obviously out of control.

Lloris as a keeper at a ‘big club’ makes less sense each week.

That should be about the 4th yellow for Lamela.

I don’t understand how he gets away with it every single game.

In a team with so many players that are easy to dislike, he manages to be comfortably the least likeable.

And again....you have the player grabbing at his leg doing the good 2-3 rolls on the ground, scream, etc.

You have pundits, coaches, everyone saying it probably wasn’t a great call yet not one taking a second to ask why is Gundogan is acting like that.

Hell, at this point I’d even be happy if they called a penalty and still gave a yellow to the player for his embellishment. Just something to start solving this.

Shake my head at the commentator continuously being amazed that Wolves keep doing the short corner routine. Is this the first time watching Wolves? Moutinho and Neto do this every game.

So they don’t even look at the fact that Maguire is in an offside position?

The penalty was soft anyway, especially considering all the BS that Maguire gets away with inside the box

VAR is ridiculous. Maguire was clearly offside and they dont even look at that. They go to the next phase of play instead and say there isn't a penalty. It was offside before the penalty.

Maguire, what are you playing at? DDG bailed you out there.

Why didn’t Diagne jump for that header? He jumps and Da Gea probably punches him in the face and he gets a penalty if he doesn’t score.
